These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the apps for Wix published by Estudio CKS (“we”, “us” or “our”), based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, including every app we publish in the Wix App Market, such as Animated Numbers, Animated Text, Right Click Protect and Showrunner (each, the “App”). By installing or using an App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
1. The Apps
Our Apps let Wix site owners add features to their sites through widgets and settings panels. Some Apps add widgets to your pages, and others run a script on your site, for example to animate numbers and text, to limit copying of a site’s content, or to show and hide banners, blocks and pop-ups on a schedule. The features, settings and limits of each App are described on its page in the Wix App Market.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use each App on the Wix sites where it is installed, for as long as it remains installed and these Terms are respected. You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute any App or any part of it.
3. Plans and payments
Each App may offer a free plan and paid premium plans. Premium plans are purchased, billed and renewed through Wix, and are subject to Wix’s payment, renewal, cancellation and refund policies. Plan features and prices are shown on each App’s page in the Wix App Market and may change; any price change will apply from your next billing cycle. We may also grant complimentary access to premium features to selected sites, for a limited time or otherwise, and we may end that access at any time.
4. Acceptable use
You are responsible for the content you display with the App, including the texts, numbers, figures and claims shown on your site. You agree not to use any App for unlawful, misleading or fraudulent purposes, or in any way that could damage, overload or interfere with the App, Wix or third parties. Apps that limit copying of content are a deterrent only: they discourage casual copying but cannot prevent screenshots, browser tools or determined users, and we do not guarantee that your content cannot be copied.
5. Data and privacy
Our Apps do not collect personal data from your site visitors. To work, each App receives the basic site information that Wix shares with installed apps under the permissions you approve during installation. We use this information only to provide, support and improve the App, and we do not sell it. Showrunner can show or hide content by the visitor’s country. To do this, the visitor’s browser asks Cloudflare’s public service (cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/trace) for the country of its connection, and the result is kept only in that browser for the duration of the visit. We do not receive, store or share the visitor’s IP address or country.
6. Intellectual property
The Apps, including their code, design and documentation, are owned by Estudio CKS and protected by intellectual property laws. You keep all rights to your own content. Wix and related marks belong to Wix.com Ltd.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep the Apps available and running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Apps also depend on the Wix platform, which is outside our control. For support, write to us at hola@estudiocks.com.ar.
8. Disclaimer
The Apps are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Estudio CKS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business, arising from the use of or inability to use an App. Our total liability for any claim related to an App will not exceed the amount you paid for that App in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using an App at any time by uninstalling it from your site. We may suspend or end your access to an App if you breach these Terms. Sections 6, 8, 9 and 12 survive termination.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, including to cover new Apps we publish. The updated version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use an App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
